Peggy Visher

Peggy Visher received her nursing training at Columbia University. After working several years as a RN in Alaska she returned to Yale University to be trained as a Certified Nurse Midwife. Helping women during their childbearing years is her passion. She did deliveries at several hospitals in New York City before moving to Washington. She is currently employed as the Clinical Nurse Specialist at Harrison Hospital and is working to improve Maternal-Child services for all women on the Kitsap Pennisula. This is her third year on the board of GVH and she values the opportunity to help develop health care programs in Guatemala.
